DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Located in the Ninth & Jefferson building across from Harborview Medical Center, the Foot & Ankle Center at Harborview provides consultation and surgical treatment for complex foot and ankle reconstruction, including arthritis, deformities, genetic anomalies, sports injuries and traumatic injury. We also offer podiatry services and non-surgical treatments.
We partner with our patients to develop an individualized treatment plan that will provide the best outcome for foot and ankle mobility and function.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for organizing and independently coordinating the administrative operations and revenue cycle operations of the assigned clinics
Accountable for the optimization of the clinic support service workflow, the Program Operations Specialist provides oversight and direction to the office staff by ensuring efficiency in practice management, financial, and support services of the clinic
Make independent judgements/decisions and take action regarding a wide range of routine and complex patient problems and situations
Perform project management duties for the clinic – leading and overseeing improvement processes and projects related to workflow improvement in terms of efficiency and/or effectiveness in supporting the clinic’s strategic goals as well as UW Medicine’s Pillar Goals
Assist in formulating strategies for monitoring and assuring quality and quality improvement. Responsible for hiring and disciplinary processes in conjunction with the health service Manager and actively participates as a leader in the clinic management team and AACS division

REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 year’s leadership experience in health care program management
Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Public Health, or Public Administration preferred
An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
