We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Operations Manager is responsible for reviewing all costing in preparation for quoting, streamlining processes and software tool usage in support of Sales initiatives to ensure efficiency and alignment with all company disciplines including leadership, direct management, direct and indirect labor as it pertains to supporting the current customers and pursuit of new business generation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with the Customer Service Team and sales leadership on the CRM tool data input and report output relative to Foxtronics’ goals and objectives
- Support the RFQ process from RFQ generation to quote launch, tracking and completion, with the ultimate goal of achieving completion on or prior to the customer’s agreed due date.
- Prepare costing worksheets for each quote in preparation of leadership review and approval prior to customer receipt.
- Ensure accuracy of sales forecasting through collaboration with sales leadership, other leadership and Customer Service in support of corporate reporting
- Travel to priority customer sites to ensure customer satisfaction and inflect revenue growth
- Manage the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization, including sales reporting for senior leadership
- Work closely with the Business Development leadership to drive the company’s sales planning and ongoing forecasting
- Coordinate cross-functionally to prepare for and support customer visits, audits and presentations to enhance Foxtronics’ chances of winning.
- Work as a “team player” with all corporate facilities to pull all necessary quoting efforts together in support of new potential customer activities.
- Ability to assist as needed in lead generation activities
WORKING CONDITIONS
- The Sales Operations Manager works in an office environment with the Customer Service Team.
- This is a very fast paced electronics manufacturing environment.
SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience building strong competencies in a Sr Customer Service role within a growing electronics organization.
- Ability to preserve confidential information.
- Must possess effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Must possess very strong communication skills in writing and verbal.
- Very good team player and should work well under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM and Quoting software.
- Proven forecasting and customer service skills.
- Must possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Must possess skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Must be highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy
