Oracle CPQ Quality Assurance Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oracle CPQ Quality Assurance Specialist to support the delivery of high‑quality CPQ solutions. This role involves validating CPQ configurations, integrations, and customizations, ensuring reliability, performance, and alignment with business requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, global environment.
This role plays a key part in ensuring solution quality across the CPQ lifecycle and supporting continuous improvement of CPQ-related processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Oracle CPQ configurations and enhancements
- Validate product configuration, pricing logic, rules, and document generation
- Support deployment of CPQ changes by executing test plans and validating release readiness
- Track and report on testing progress, defects, risks, and quality metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and resolve defects
- Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Maintain test documentation, test cases, and execution reports
- Work effectively across global teams and time zones as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Overall 5+ years of experience in IT
- 2+ years of experience working on Oracle CPQ implementations
- Strong understanding of CPQ concepts, architecture, and functionality
- Hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ configuration, including product models, pricing, rules, and document generation
- Proficiency in BML and JavaScript
- Experience with scripting tools and test execution frameworks
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum SDLC methodologies
- Familiarity with collaboration and tracking tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Technical Skills
- Oracle CPQ (configuration, pricing, rules, document generation)
- BML, JavaScript
- Web technologies: HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT
- Integration testing with Salesforce and Oracle Fusion applications
- Relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server or equivalent)
- Basic understanding of infrastructure and application components
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud
- Exposure to AI-enabled tools or Oracle AI features
- Additional experience with JavaScript and CSS
