Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain a V6 Custom Database:
Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable adaptable CPQ database structures that can meet evolving business requirements and future growth, ensuring the solution effectively supports V6 CPQ applications
- Query Development & Optimization:
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support efficient CPQ workflows and data retrieval.
Develop and manage ETL processes for migrating CPQ-related data across different systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity during the transition.
- Integration with Technology Stacks:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CPQ databases with core enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow through API-based integrations and middleware tools.
Monitor and enhance database performance by optimizing query execution times, indexing strategies, and overall system efficiency to ensure fast and accurate CPQ operations.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging:
Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues related to pricing, product configuration, and quoting processes to ensure system reliability.
- Collaboration with Teams:
Work closely with CPQ developers, business analysts, and system architects, participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, ensure smooth collaboration to optimize the CPQ solution.
Maintain clear technical documentation for database schemas, queries, data flows, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
