BlitzenX is building India’s fastest-growing tech operations engine in insurance and enterprise tech. We’re scaling our teams aggressively and building the backbone that allows Services and Product units to deliver at speed and scale.
We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven manager to embed within BU heads’ ecosystems, providing recruitment, HR, client/resource services, finance, and admin support to ensure both units can scale efficiently, hire fast, and operate at high-performance levels.
This is not a “delegate and monitor” job. You will own outcomes, make decisions, and directly impact BU growth and efficiency. Insurance/Guidewire experience is a bonus, not mandatory.
Role Overview
You will
work alongside Services and Product BU heads, embedding into their teams to:
- Support their growth and execution goals
- Ensure smooth recruitment, HR, client/resource services, and admin functions
- Enable the BUs to scale 2X full-time staff, and lay foundations for 2000 full-time staff by 2030
Your
mission: make the BU heads’ lives easier, remove operational bottlenecks, and provide hands-on support that directly contributes to growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Scaling
- Own full-cycle recruitment for both BUs, full-time hires only.
- Build pipelines, mentor recruiters, and enforce SLAs for speed, quality, and retention.
- Ensure hires are aligned with BU goals and culture.
- Scale teams then lay foundations for 2000 FTE by 2030.
HR & Employee Operations
- Support BU heads with onboarding, appraisals, performance management, and retention.
- Align HR with billable utilization, productivity, and profitability.
- Automate HR/admin processes wherever possible to increase BU efficiency.
Client Services & Resource Operations
- Maximize utilization of BU resources; allocate staff efficiently across projects.
- Resolve client/resource issues before they impact delivery or revenue.
- Implement dashboards, metrics, and SLAs to track performance, utilization, and satisfaction.
Finance & Profitability Support
- Support BU heads in budgeting, payroll, vendor payments, invoicing, and cost control.
- Build dashboards for revenue, cost, margin, and admin efficiency.
- Ensure spend directly contributes to BU growth or operational efficiency.
Systems & Process Automation
- Embed in BU workflows to streamline IT access, systems, and security.
- Reduce manual work across all functions by >50%.
- Ensure all systems and processes scale with BU growth without errors or downtime.
Embedded BU Partner & Leadership
- Act as the operational backbone for Services and Product BU heads.
- Lead, mentor, and hold admin, HR, recruitment, finance, and client service teams accountable.
- Work side-by-side with BU heads to anticipate needs, remove blockers, and increase execution speed.
Who You Are
- 8–12 years in operations, HR, recruitment, or finance leadership within technology/delivery environments.
- Hands-on, highly accountable, and obsessed with execution.
- Skilled at managing multiple functions simultaneously to support BU growth.
- Excited to scale teams to 2000.
- Comfortable working embedded in fast-paced BU environments with high expectations.
