Job description
Are you a highly organised, down-to-earth quick learner with a strong interest in business performance, and data-driven decision making? Do you enjoy turning data into clear insights that help leadership steer a growing organisation? Then we’d love to hear from you!
We are looking for a Business Operations Junior Analyst to play a central role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a growing global firm, with a primary focus on designing and delivering high-quality reporting and providing actionable operational analysis across the wider organisation.
A key part of the role will involve automating workflows and reporting processes to improve accuracy, enhance transparency, and reduce reliance on manual, error-prone activities. While you will work closely with the Business Operations and Management, Finance, HR and Delivery teams and contribute to key leadership materials, including Board presentations and ad-hoc business queries, the role is focused on helping drive continuous improvements in how data and processes are managed.
This is a strong opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented and analytically minded individual who is highly organised, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and motivated to use data and technology to improve efficiency across the wider business.
Job requirements
• 1+ years’ experience in Business Operations, Data Analysis, or similar role, with exposure to a variety of business problems, datasets, tools and methodologies in a fast-paced or corporate environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a drive to break down complex requirements, identify root issues, and develop efficient, scalable solutions
• Proficient Excel skills are essential
• Proficiency in Power BI and SQL is desirable. Demonstrated hands-on experience leveraging these tools to automate workflows and build reports and dashboards is strongly preferred
• Highly detail-oriented with strong focus on data accuracy, validation, and integrity, particularly when working with financial and people-related metrics
• Experience producing regular reports/dashboards, with the ability to translate data into clear insights and messaging for senior stakeholders; good PowerPoint skills essential
• Strong organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple requests and deadlines across different areas of the business
• Confident and collaborative communicator, able to effectively manage stakeholder relationships, across all levels of the organisation, to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
• Proactive and ownership-driven, with ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
• Keen interest in process improvement, identifying inefficiencies, and building out formalised and documented workflows
• Adaptable and resilient working under pressure. Experience working in a smaller and dynamic team environment is a plus
