Sales Operations Analyst
Our client is an established food manufacturing company based in Sonoma County with products distributed nationwide. This is a newly created role within a growing organization and offers the opportunity to play a key role in helping leadership turn data into actionable business decisions and drive continued growth.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily sales operations activities, including pricing, promotions, product setup, and customer maintenance
- Build, update, and manage sales reporting across customers, product lines, and sales channels
- Analyze data from distributor portals, POS systems, syndicated data sources, and internal reporting tools
- Assist with forecasting efforts by reviewing sales trends, inventory levels, and promotional performance
- Maintain accurate and organized data across CRM, ERP, and other internal systems
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and data accuracy
- Support onboarding of new customers and coordination of product launches
- Investigate and help resolve order discrepancies, reporting issues, and data inconsistencies
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Nielsen, IRI, Circana, or SPINS data platforms
- Experience working with distributors such as UNFI or KeHE
- 1–3+ years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role, ideally within CPG
- Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present data effectively
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with CRM and ERP systems
- Exposure to pricing strategy, trade spend analysis, or promotional planning
- Experience supporting system implementations, reporting improvements, or process optimization initiatives
