About the Role
Al Emadi Enterprises is undergoing a strategic organizational restructuring to transition to a scalable enterprise. As part of this transformation, we are seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to establish robust financial governance across our diverse portfolio of companies.
The CFO will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, driving profitability, and ensuring rigorous financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute the group's long-term financial strategy, supporting portfolio expansion and new investments.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function, providing actionable insights on revenue growth, margin optimization, and capital expenditure.
- Establish a unified financial governance framework across all group entities, ensuring consistency in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Initiate necessary developments to finance and accounting systems and procedures
- Provide business recommendations based on financial and operational
- information to higher management
Operational Finance & Cross-Entity Optimization
- Oversee the centralized Finance & Accounts team
- Implement and manage a formal cross-entity chargeback model (Service Level Agreements)
- Optimize cash flow management and working capital across the group's diverse business lines
- Identify and manage financial risks across the businesses
Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Strengthen internal controls and audit processes to mitigate financial risk and ensure compliance.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Drive the digitization and automation of financial processes to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Identify and mange financial risks across the businesses
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA, CFA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a CFO or VP of Finance role within multi-entity conglomerate (Real Estate, Retail, or Hospitality sectors preferred).
- Expertise: Proven track record in implementing financial governance, cross-entity cost allocation models, and leading organizational restructuring initiatives.
- Skills: Exceptional strategic thinking, advanced financial modeling, and the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
