Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and management to support sustainable growth and profitability. The role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, driving strategic decision-making, and partnering with executive leadership to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial strategy aligned with long-term business goals
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Manage cash flow, capital structure, and investment strategies
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team
- Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies
- Drive cost optimization, profitability, and operational efficiency initiatives
- Support mergers, acquisitions, fundraising, and business expansion activities
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including MIS, board reports, and statutory filings
Qualifications & Skills
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA in Finance / Equivalent qualification
- Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, taxation, and compliance
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
Experience
- 12–18+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
- Minimum 5+ years in a senior leadership role (CFO / Finance Head / VP Finance)
- Experience in Hospital preferred
