We are a leading gym wear brand founded in 2013. As we continue to grow, we’re hiring a Business Operations Manager (Ecom) to take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business.
This role is focused on keeping everything organised, on track, and moving. You will manage operational emails, admin, core tools, and internal processes to ensure nothing gets missed and everything runs properly.
This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. You will be expected to take ownership, solve problems, and keep the business running smoothly without constant input.
Please note: This is not a warehouse operations role.
We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on ecommerce (DTC) experience, including Shopify, 3PL coordination (not warehouse-based). This is an office based role from our HQ in Chorley.
Requirements
- Experience with Shopify, 3PL coordination, and the core tools used to run an ecommerce business
- Experience in ecommerce operations (DTC)
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of tasks and problems
- Confident communicating with suppliers, partners and internal teams
- Able to prioritise and manage tasks through to completion
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Business Support
- Manage day-to-day operational emails across fulfilment, suppliers and partners
- Ensure all tasks, requests and issues are handled promptly and properly
- Keep the business organised and ensure nothing is missed or left unresolved
- Take ownership of problems and resolve them without escalation
- Chase suppliers, partners and internal tasks to ensure everything is completed on time
Admin & Finance Support
- Manage and pay invoices
- Ensure all financial admin is accurate, up to date and organised
- Maintain visibility on key operational costs and flag any issues
- Keep records clean and easy to track
Fulfilment & Operations
- Maintain oversight of fulfilment and ensure orders are dispatched correctly
- Resolve any issues with orders, stock or delivery
- Communicate with 3PL partners where needed and ensure smooth operation
- Identify and fix operational inefficiencies
Systems & Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies or gaps in current processes
- Implement better systems and ways of working
- Improve organisation and reduce manual work across the business
- Ensure operations are set up to run cleanly and efficiently
What Success Looks Like
- Operations run smoothly without constant oversight
- Tasks are completed without chasing or follow-up
- Emails, admin and finance are under control
- The business feels organised, not reactive
Salary
£45,000 – £70,000 depending on experience
