Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer to design, build, and support scalable quoting and pricing solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. This role will focus on configuring and customizing Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick) to support complex pricing, product, and proposal processes, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and customize Salesforce CPQ solutions to support pricing, quoting, discounting, and approvals
· Configure products, bundles, price rules, product rules, discount schedules, and approval workflows
· Develop and maintain CPQ data models, including product configuration and pricing structures
Customize CPQ using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript as needed
· Collaborate with sales, operations, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable CPQ solutions
· Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ configuration, performance, and data issues
· Support CPQ enhancements, upgrades, and Salesforce releases
· Create and maintain technical documentation for CPQ designs and configurations
· Participate in testing, deployment, and post‐production support
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of Salesforce development experience
· 2+ years of hands‐on Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick) experience
· Strong understanding of CPQ concepts:
o Product bundles and options
o Price rules and product rules
o Discounting and approvals
o Quote templates and document generation
· Experience with Apex, SOQL, JavaScript, and Salesforce configuration
· Familiarity with Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Lightning)
· Solid understanding of Salesforce data model and security
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
· Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have:
· Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification
· Experience integrating CPQ with ERP, billing, or finance systems
· Experience with Advanced Approvals or custom approval logic
· Knowledge of Salesforce Billing
· Experience supporting global or multi‐currency CPQ implementations
Previous experience in enterprise or high‐volume sales environments
