The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and driving strategic financial performance for a growing construction organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all finance and accounting functions, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance
- Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership on business decisions and growth initiatives
- Oversee job costing, cash flow management, and financial planning processes
- Ensure accuracy of financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance (GAAP, tax, etc.)
- Manage banking, surety, and investor relationships
- Establish and maintain internal controls and scalable financial systems
- Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability and performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA and/or MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of financial leadership experience, with a strong background in construction
- Experience working within a company generating at least $100M in annual revenue
- Proven expertise in job costing, cash flow management, and strategic planning
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities
