Director of Finance – Law Firm | Dallas (Hybrid)
A highly regarded, midsize national law firm is seeking a Director of Finance to lead firmwide financial operations and strategy.
This is a senior leadership position reporting directly to firm management, with responsibility for overseeing accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and tax functions across a multi-office platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to firm leadership
- Manage treasury operations, including banking relationships and firm investments
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and filings in coordination with external accountants
- Direct accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, AP, billing, and trust accounting
- Partner with leadership on strategic growth, cost analysis, and long-term planning
Requirements
- Prior experience in a midsize to large law firm is REQUIRED
- 10+ years of accounting/finance experience in a multi-office environment
- Strong expertise in:
- Treasury management
- Financial reporting & forecasting
- Tax strategy and compliance
- Proven experience managing teams and working with executive leadership
- CPA strongly preferred
