We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer with deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ and Apex to lead the technical design and implementation of our Quote-to-Cash processes. You will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance solutions that handle complex product configurations, pricing logic, and multi-cloud integrations. As a senior member of the team, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical architecture, ensuring code quality and platform stability.
Core Responsibilities
1. Technical Development & Customization
- Advanced Apex: Design and develop high-quality, scalable Apex (Triggers, Controllers, Batch, Queueable) while strictly adhering to governor limits.
- Modern UI: Build intuitive user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and optimize existing Aura or Visualforce components.
- CPQ Logic: Implement and maintain complex Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules, and Custom Scripting (CPQ Plugins/JS Quote Calculator Plugin).
2. Solution Architecture & Design
- Product Modeling: Architect complex product bundles, nested configurations, and constraint rules within CPQ.
- Integration: Lead the integration of Salesforce with downstream systems such as ERP (Zuro, Workday, SAP), Billing, and Contract Management tools using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware (e.g., Informatica).
- Flow Automation: Design sophisticated declarative solutions using Salesforce Flows to complement programmatic development.
3. Advanced Data Loading
- Relational Data Migration: Perform complex data loads of CPQ configuration objects (which require maintaining strict Parent-Child relationships) using Data Loader or Salesforce Inspector.
- Data Transformation: Use Excel or Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) to clean and format pricing and product data before importing it into Salesforce.
- Extraction & Reporting: Export quote and line-item data to assist the Finance team with audit requests and sales performance analysis
4. Advanced Front-End Development (The "Look")
- LWC for Communities: Expert proficiency in building Lightning Web Components specifically designed to be "drag-and-drop" compatible for site builders.
- Experience Builder Mastery: Experience using the LWR (Lightning Web Runtime) vs. Aura templates. LWR is the high-performance 2026 standard for speed and SEO.
- CMS Integration: Knowledge of Salesforce CMS to deliver content (images, news, documents) dynamically to the community.
- Branding & CSS: Advanced CSS/SLDS (Salesforce Lightning Design System) skills to ensure the community matches a corporate brand identity perfectly.
5. Complex Security & Identity (The "Access")
- External Sharing Models: Deep knowledge of Sharing Sets, Sharing Groups, and Account Relationship Data Sharing.
- Customer Community Licenses: Understanding the technical limitations between Customer Community (high volume, limited sharing) vs. Partner Community (Role Hierarchy support).
- Identity Management: Experience setting up SSO (Single Sign-On), Social Sign-on (Google/LinkedIn), and custom Self-Registration flows using Apex.
- Headless Identity: (Advanced) Experience using Salesforce as an Identity Provider for external apps.
6. Leadership & Best Practices
- Code Reviews: Conduct rigorous peer code reviews to ensure maintainability, security, and performance.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior/mid-level developers and admins.
- DevOps: Manage the deployment pipeline using tools like SFDX, Git, Copado, or Gearset, ensuring smooth releases across sandboxes and production.
