SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for the health and performance of our sales engine. You will own our CRM, performance reporting, and bridge the gap between the Sales team and other groups. This position is ideal for an ambitious, detail-oriented professional who seeks to join a growing company. This position will also provide the opportunity for independent initiative and judgment to improve systems, reporting & analytics, and reduce manual processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Analytics:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales reps, including pipeline velocity, win/loss and lead conversion ratios and forecast health
Customer & Order Analytics:
- Build custom reports for customer and order trend analysis to reduce churn and create a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence to distribute to sales team and executive team
CRM Ownership:
- Serve as the primary champion and Subject Matter Expert for our CRM (SalesForce). Maintain data integrity, build custom reports, and automate workflows to reduce administrative "friction" for reps
Territory and Quota Planning:
- Assist Sales Leadership team in the planning of territories and quota assignments
Sales Enablement & Onboarding:
- Develop and refine training materials and best practice documentation to onboard new reps and improve the efficiency of the existing team
Project Management:
- Lead and implement strategic sales initiatives from planning to implementation and execution
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering related fields
- 1-3 years experience in sales, consulting, engineering, or finance related fields
- Experience with large datasets
- CRM experience required and SalesForce experience strongly preferred
- Experience with SQL, Tableau or PowerBI preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in developing training material and conducting training sessions
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Hybrid office setting with remote work at least 2 days per week and occasional travel to facilities and meetings
