Our client, a diversified global holding company, is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function of one of its portfolio operating companies within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This individual will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and a trusted advisor to the President, helping shape long-term strategy, drive financial performance, and support sustainable growth.
The CFO will have full accountability for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and internal controls, while delivering insights that guide decision-making and improve operational performance. A core focus of the role is developing and executing long-term financial strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance profitability, and ensuring strong alignment between financial plans and business objectives. This leader will also support broader growth initiatives, including acquisitions, though this is a secondary component of the role.
The opportunity: This is a true operating CFO role with meaningful influence over both strategy and execution. You’ll have the ability to partner closely with leadership, shape the financial direction of the business, and build a high-performing finance organization within a performance-driven environment. The role offers strong visibility, autonomy, and a clear path for continued leadership growth.
Candidate profile: The ideal candidate brings significant finance leadership experience within manufacturing or industrial environments, including strong expertise in FP&A, operational finance, and strategic planning. They are a hands-on, data-driven leader who can translate financial insights into action, influence at the executive level, and build and develop high-performing teams.
