Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with an organization in St. Louis seeking a full-time CFO. The CFO will also work with other executives and must be able to work in a team environment with a high attention to detail/organization along with possessing good communication/leadership skills to manage and develop the accounting department.
CFO Responsibilities:
- Oversee all core accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and internal controls
- Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts while contributing to strategic planning for key initiatives
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Direct month‑end and year‑end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Deliver financial analysis and management reporting to support informed decision‑making
- Supervise, mentor, and support the accounting team to drive performance and development
CFO Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA strongly preferred
- 10+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility
- Intermediate Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system
