About the Role
A confidential, National Services Company is hiring a Revenue Operations Manager to build and own the operational backbone of revenue across the business.
The company is looking to strengthen revenue visibility across teams, improve forecasting discipline, and establish clear ownership of the full revenue picture. This role will establish a consistent forward view of what is coming, what is at risk, and where attention is needed.
This is a build role that will centralize ownership and establish the systems, processes, and operating cadence required to manage revenue with clarity and precision.
You will work closely with Operations, Client Experience, Finance, and leadership to improve forecasting discipline, pipeline visibility, event-level performance, and overall revenue quality.
This is a high-impact role with clear ownership and a path to broader leadership responsibility as the company scales. The right candidate will own how revenue is forecasted, tracked, and managed across the business.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- A reliable 30 / 60 / 90 day forward revenue view that leadership uses weekly
- Clear pipeline segmentation across confirmed, at-risk, in-progress, and lost revenue
- Event-level visibility into revenue and margin across major accounts
- A defined operating cadence for forecast reviews and pipeline tracking
- Elimination of ad hoc trackers and fragmented reporting
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Forecasting, Pipeline Management & Visibility
- Build and maintain forward-looking revenue forecasts across 30 / 60 / 90 / 180-day horizons
- Develop and manage a structured view of the full book of business across confirmed, in-progress, at-risk, and lost revenue streams
- Improve pipeline visibility, deal tracking, and revenue timing across regions and teams
- Identify gaps, risks, timing shifts, and dependencies early, and ensure they are surfaced and acted on
- Establish and run forecast review cadence with clear ownership of inputs and accountability
Revenue Performance, Reporting & Event Profitability
- Own revenue reporting, including forecast vs actual analysis, revenue bridge, and key performance drivers
- Analyze revenue performance across accounts, events, and regions
- Monitor profitability at the event level, including revenue, labor, travel, and operating costs
- Analyze expected vs actual margins and identify drivers of variance, leakage, and inefficiencies
- Partner with Operations and Finance to improve pricing discipline, staffing models, and cost structure
- Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for leadership
Retention, Growth & Account Performance Management
- Track recurring business by mapping prior-year events and accounts to current-year performance
- Monitor retention across key accounts and proactively identify revenue at risk
- Support visibility into expansion and growth across priority accounts
- Bring structure to how account performance is tracked, managed, and reviewed across teams
- Ensure retention and growth are actively managed rather than assumed
Systems, Process & Cross-Functional Execution
- Build and improve systems, workflows, and data structures supporting revenue tracking and reporting
- Establish and maintain a single source of truth for revenue-related data
- Drive data accuracy, consistency, and timely updates across Operations, Client Experience, and Finance
- Establish operating cadence across teams (forecast reviews, KPI tracking, performance reporting)
- Act as the connective layer between commercial activity, operational execution, and financial visibility
- Drive accountability across teams for inputs, updates, and revenue ownership
Required Qualifications
- 5–7 years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations or a similar cross-functional operating role
- Strong experience in forecasting, pipeline management, revenue reporting, and performance analysis
- Advanced Excel / data structuring skills with the ability to build and maintain models
- Experience working in environments where systems and ownership are still evolving
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business decisions
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive accountability across multiple stakeholders
- Clear communicator who can operate effectively with both operators and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in event-driven, staffing, logistics, field services, or other operationally complex service businesses
- Experience working across multiple regions, branches, or business units
- Exposure to CRM, reporting, and operational systems used to manage pipeline and revenue performance
- Experience building reporting and operating infrastructure in a scaling organization
Compensation
- Base: $120K – $140K
- Performance bonus tied to forecast accuracy, growth within key accounts, and revenue retention
- Additional upside tied to overall company performance
