A large, privately held US business operating nationally across multiple locations is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team.
The organisation operates a complex, asset‑intensive model and supports critical services nationwide. Having experienced sustained growth through expansion and acquisition, the business is now focused on strengthening financial governance, scalability, and operational insight.
This is a broad, hands‑on CFO role with full ownership of the finance function and significant influence over business strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning
- Full oversight of accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance
- Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board
- Supporting M&A activity, integration, and continued geographic expansion
- Strengthening financial controls, reporting cadence, and decision‑making
- Managing liquidity, working capital, and capital investment planning
ERP & systems ownership
The CFO will have executive ownership of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform, with accountability for:
- Ensuring D365 F&O supports financial control, reporting accuracy, and scalability
- Partnering with IT and operational leaders on ERP strategy and optimisation
- Overseeing system governance, enhancements, and roadmap decisions
- Driving adoption of standardised processes across multiple entities and locations
- Ensuring finance data integrity, compliance, and executive‑level insight
