Job Description
As the Director of U.S. Sales Operations, you will serve as a key leader responsible for the strategic framework and operational execution of Ford Credit’s U.S. Sales organization. This role leads a diverse team of professionals, located in multiple sites, to optimize dealer service, manage large-scale initiatives and programs, and provide critical business insights to executive leadership.
Responsibilities
You Will...
- Lead the development and oversight of key initiatives and strategies to deliver Ford Credit’s plan
- Lead business process redesign efforts to enhance sales team efficiency and optimize the utilization of key performance tools to deliver superior dealer satisfaction and drive results
- Empower and lead the Inside Sales organization to deliver against core performance targets while optimizing service delivery models
- Research and design next-generation Performance Consulting frameworks to provide best-in-class support to the dealer network while prioritizing company initiatives
- Oversee the U.S. Wholesale program, optimizing initiatives such as the Floorplan Assistance Program (FPA), Partnership Rewards (PRP), and Dealer Cash Management (DCMA)
- Guide teams in delivery of Sales training, collaborating with Learning & Development to design and deliver employee and dealer training
- Direct the strategy for delivering fee income objectives in collaboration with field sales and product marketing
- Oversee support to the Vice President of U.S. Sales Operations, including facilitation of key meetings, and development and maintenance of performance dashboards (L2/L3 Bowlers) to track progress against Sales objectives
- Lead the execution of critical relationship-building initiatives, such as the "Partners in Quality" program
- Interface with the Product Org and Product Marketing to implement enhancements; ensuring the "Dealer Voice" is embedded into all projects and product rollouts.
- Champion compliance and procedural discipline
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, diverse team of employees, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
- Proactively support employee engagement and diversity initiatives to develop a robust talent pipeline
Qualifications
You'll Have...
- Extensive success in sales operations or automotive finance with deep knowledge of dealership operations, wholesale financing, and retail processes
- A self-starter with a strategic mindset capable of managing a diverse range of specialties and designing next-generation business frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale project implementations and manage complex product rollouts
- Broad understanding of Learning & Development and training processes to drive employee and dealer growth
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills; comfortable influencing senior leadership and navigating difficult conversations
- Strong ability to interpret data and champion technological improvements to enhance sales consultancy and training
- Demonstrated commitment to building relationships, competing like a challenger, and caring for each other
