About The Opportunity
The Head of Business Operations is a member of the Logicalis Australia leadership team and responsible for the ownership of the operational and commercial strategy for Logicalis Australia. This role is responsible for the designing, executing, and optimising the operational framework that enables the organisation to deliver on its strategic objectives. This role ensures seamless integration across sales, delivery, finance and customer success, driving operational excellence, commercial performance, data integrity, and continuous improvement.
What will you be doing?
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support the organisation’s growth, profitability, and market positioning.
- Partner with leadership to translate business goals into operational plans and measurable outcomes.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform operational decision-making and innovation.
Operational Excellence
- Own the operational stack (for example, Dynamics 365, FinOps, Quoting Tools)
- Own the enterprise operating rhythm, including monthly business reviews, forecasting cadence, pipeline governance, margin reviews, and performance forums in partnership with the Finance Director and Leadership Team.
- Drive forecasting accuracy across revenue, margin, utilisation, and renewals, ensuring alignment between sales, delivery, and finance.
- Oversee end-to-end business operations, including sales operations, project delivery, renewals management, and commercial governance.
- Establish and maintain robust business processes, policies, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Champion the use of data and analytics for performance management, forecasting, and continuous improvement.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage operational budgets, cost controls, and commercial performance metrics.
- Oversee contract management, renewals, vendor relationships, and procurement processes.
- Support pricing, margin analysis, and commercial negotiations for new and existing business.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational and commercial KPI’s.
People Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.
- Promote cross-functional teamwork and effective communication across the business.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key point of contact for major clients on operational matters, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, and technical teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding and ongoing service excellence.
- Represent operations in executive forums, board meetings, and industry events as required.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- 10+ years’ experience in business operations, service delivery, or commercial management within the IT services, consulting, or systems integration sector.
- Demonstrated success in leading operational transformation and scaling business operations.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and commercial contracts.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of the “Quote-to-Cash” lifecycle, Vendor Rebate programs, and recurring revenue (renewals) models.
- Strong familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (Dynamics 365, Power BI, FinOps) and modern planning tools.

- Achievement of operational efficiency targets (e.g., cost-to-serve, process cycle times).
- Margin improvement and commercial performance against budget.
- Customer satisfaction (CSAT/NPS) and retention rates.
- Project delivery success (on time, on budget, to scope).
- Employee engagement and team development metrics.
- Compliance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
