Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in the manufacturing sector and proven experience in leading organizations through IPO readiness and public listing. The ideal candidate will drive financial strategy, strengthen governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead the company’s journey toward a successful Initial Public Offering.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with long-term business goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and Board on financial performance and growth.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
IPO Readiness & Capital Market Execution
- Lead end-to-end IPO preparation including financial restructuring, due diligence, and readiness assessment.
- Work closely with investment bankers, legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with IPO regulations, disclosures, and listing requirements.
- Develop investor relations strategy and support roadshows and investor communications.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Strengthen internal controls, audit processes, and corporate governance.
- Oversee statutory compliance, taxation, and risk management frameworks.
Manufacturing & Operational Finance
- Drive cost control, working capital management, and margin improvement.
- Implement robust MIS and performance metrics across manufacturing operations.
- Optimize capital expenditure planning and inventory management.
Risk Management & Governance
- Establish strong financial controls and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards required for listed entities.
- Support Board and Audit Committee with financial insights and compliance reporting.
Team Leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
- 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Proven experience in IPO preparation and successful listing.
- Strong background in manufacturing industry finance.
- Experience working with investment bankers, SEBI/regulatory authorities, and auditors.
- Expertise in corporate finance, compliance, risk management, and investor relations.
