Position: Senior Salesforce CPQ Developer Position
Location: The preferred location is Santa Clara,CA, but remote for exceptional candidates from the Pacific Time zone
Duration: 6-12 months of contract with possible extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other relevant technologies.
- Perform complex customizations and configurations within Salesforce.
- Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems using APIs and middleware.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with security best practices and data governance policies.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce development, including:
- Strong proficiency in Apex (Triggers, Batch Apex, Asynchronous Apex, Test Classes).
- Solid experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, fields, workflows, process builder, flows, validation rules, and security models.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk) and integration patterns.
- Good CPQ knowledge, including product configurations, pricing strategies, discounting, approvals, quote templates, and contract lifecycle management.
- Experience with Logik.io or other advanced configuration engines for complex product and pricing configurations is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
