Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including long-term planning and forecasting.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant regulations.
- Lead treasury management activities such as cash flow forecasting, expense control, cost management, and supply chain finance to optimize liquidity.
- Supervise financial analysis, modeling, profit & loss statements, revenue cycle management, and cost control initiatives to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee mergers & acquisitions processes including due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration efforts to expand organizational capabilities.
- Ensure accurate financial report writing and interpretation for internal stakeholders and external regulators while maintaining transparency in all fiscal communications.
- Drive business development efforts by analyzing market trends, conducting market analysis, and identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Lead a high-performing finance team through effective supervision, mentoring, and management practices while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles within finance or accounting functions; prior CFO experience preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts such as risk management, fiscal management, budgeting, forecasting, and profit & loss analysis.
- Strong expertise in technical accounting standards including GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), and compliance frameworks like COSO and SOX.
- Demonstrated ability in corporate finance activities such as mergers & acquisitions, business development, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency with financial software systems and tools used for financial modeling, analysis, reporting, and supply chain finance.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with experience supervising teams across multiple finance disciplines including governmental accounting, non-profit accounting if applicable, payroll management, tax accounting, cost accounting, and financial planning.
