Accountable for delivering both functional and technical assistance for Oracle CPQ (previously BigMachines) systems to maintain seamless Quote-to-Cash workflows. Partner with multiple teams to handle product setups, pricing logic, system integrations, issue handling, and platform improvements while making sure all product configurations are accurate and error-free.
Responsibilities
- Deliver functional and technical help for Oracle CPQ environments
- Handle and fix issues tied to CPQ quoting and pricing flows
- Debug BML scripts, product setups, and business logic
- Fix integration problems between Oracle CPQ and other enterprise tools
- Make sure product setups are error-free and ready for orders
- Complete parts configuration and act as SME for business and tech groups
- Team up with various departments to gather needs and confirm delivered work
- Set up and manage product structures, pricing logic, workflows, and configuration rules
- Track and fix data sync problems between Oracle CPQ and connected systems
- Offer tech advice, help, and training to users to improve quoting speed
- Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and rollouts including JET UI and Redwood UI updates
- Spot chances to improve processes and drive automation efforts
- Build and run test plans, test cases, and check scripts for setup and BOM updates
- Write and update requirement docs and technical records
- Take part in testing to confirm quality and correct function of new changes
- Work alongside dev and business teams to support ongoing improvements
Required Skill Set
- Solid hands-on background with Oracle CPQ (4+ years)
- Experience in Oracle CPQ setup, commerce module, and BML coding
- Strong grasp of Quote-to-Cash processes
- Skilled at fixing product setup and pricing problems
- Familiar with Oracle CPQ connections to ERP/CRM platforms
- Experience with parts setup, BOM control, and configuration logic
- Strong analysis and problem-solving mindset
- Background in production support and ticket handling
- Good knowledge of testing methods and documentation standards
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing complex product setups
- Exposure to Redwood UI and JET UI
- Experience with Asset-Based Ordering (ABO)
- Understanding of automation and process improvement efforts
- Oracle CPQ Certified Implementation Specialist credential preferred
