AWS is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst to join the UKI Sales Strategy and Operations team. This is a key role that will support UKI Sales managers as well as Sales Strategy & Ops leaders on running sales processes, implementing new tools and processes, driving productivity improvements across the sales organisation, and running key strategic initiatives.
As a UKI Sales Operations Analyst, you will work closely with sales leadership to execute critical business processes including revenue forecasting and planning, territory and coverage optimisation, operational process improvement, and strategic project support. This role combines hands-on analytics with operational excellence, where you'll use data analysis and modelling to support Sales Leaders and their teams. You'll play a key role in maintaining business health and driving data-informed decisions across the region by leveraging technical expertise and business acumen to analyse complex datasets from multiple sources and deliver reports that directly impact our decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for analysing large sets of data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable recommendations. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
Revenue Forecasting & Planning – Support the UKI revenue forecasting process by analysing trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring forecast accuracy. Partner with sales managers to validate inputs and drive accountability in the forecasting cadence.
Territory & Coverage Optimisation – Assist in the design and analysis of territory plans, account assignments, and coverage models across UK industry verticals and Ireland, ensuring equitable distribution of opportunity and alignment with strategic priorities.
Operational Process Improvement – Identify and implement process improvements that increase sales team productivity and operational efficiency. Streamline reporting workflows, automate recurring analyses, and champion best practices across the UKI sales organisation.
Strategic Project Support – Contribute to cross-functional strategic projects that drive business growth across UKI, including supporting go-to-market plans for new segments or verticals, providing analytical input during account planning cycles to identify whitespace opportunities, building business cases for strategic partnerships, analysing the effectiveness of sales incentive programmes, and supporting organisational design initiatives such as the integration of new geographies or sales segments into existing structures.
