We are partnering with US mid-market PE sponsors actively investing behind buy-and-build services platforms in Texas across the essential and infrastructure services sector, including residential and commercial trades, facility services, energy and utility services, and route-based / multi-site field services businesses.
We are speaking with CFOs and CFO-1s who have taken a PE-backed services platform through a full hold cycle, scaled it via multi-site / multi-state M&A, and delivered a successful sponsor exit.
What strong candidates look like:
- Sat as CFO (or No. 2) in a PE-backed services roll-up between $100m and $800m enterprise value, ideally with a completed exit to a strategic or secondary sponsor.
- Closed and integrated bolt-ons, owning the full stack from LOI through QofE, debt financing, post-close integration, ERP consolidation and synergy capture.
- Built the finance function from owner-operator reporting standards to institutional grade, including KPI dashboards, 13-week cash, lender reporting and audit-ready board packs.
- Comfortable operating in a field-services, multi-branch P&L environment. Project margin, fleet, labour utilisation and working capital are second nature.
- Texas-based or genuinely willing to relocate. This is a hands-on, in-market role, not a remote CFO seat.
