PLENOVA Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd. is a growing manufacturing and supply chain company specializing in FMCG wooden pallets and inserts. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company’s financial planning, compliance, risk management, and overall financial operations while supporting long-term business growth and operational excellence.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Qualified CA with 8–15 years of experience in finance, taxation, compliance, and strategic financial management, preferably in manufacturing or supply chain industries.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
* Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with organizational goals and expansion plans.
* Provide strategic recommendations to the Directors and Management on business growth, investments, cost optimization, and profitability.
* Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Financial Management & Reporting
* Oversee preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Ensure accurate MIS reporting, cash flow management, working capital planning, and financial analysis.
* Present board-level financial summaries, business performance reports, and KPI dashboards.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
* Ensure complete compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other statutory regulations.
* Supervise tax planning, assessments, audits, notices, appeals, and litigations.
* Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities.
Audit & Internal Controls
* Establish strong internal financial controls and compliance systems.
* Lead statutory audits, internal audits, and risk assessment procedures.
* Develop SOPs and financial governance policies to improve operational efficiency and reduce risks.
Treasury & Banking Operations
* Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, fund flow, and working capital requirements.
* Monitor financial risks, vendor payments, receivables, and liquidity planning.
* Evaluate investment opportunities and capital expenditure planning.
Team Management
* Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team.
* Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and ensure process discipline within the department.
* Drive training and development initiatives for finance staff.
Litigation & Appeals Handling
- Extensive experience in handling taxation appeals, assessments, and litigations related to GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory matters.
- Coordinate with legal advisors, consultants, and government authorities for notices, hearings, appeals, and dispute resolution.
- Experience representing the organization during departmental audits, scrutiny assessments, and tribunal proceedings including GST and IT matters.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of replies, reconciliations, documentation, and compliance records for litigation cases.
Business & Process Improvement
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction, automation, and process optimization.
* Implement ERP/accounting system improvements and strengthen reporting structures.
* Stay updated with regulatory and taxation changes and implement necessary process updates.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Qualification
* Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
* Additional qualifications such as MBA Finance or certifications in taxation/compliance will be an added advantage.
Experience
* Minimum 8–15 years of experience in finance and accounts leadership roles.
* Prior experience in manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or supply chain industries preferred.
* Experience handling audits, taxation, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Technical Skills
* Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, Ind AS, and financial regulations.
* Proficiency in Tally Prime, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.
* Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Soft Skills
* Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
