Our Unique Work
The Operations & Resiliency Group (O&R) serves to strengthen, support, and ensure the resiliency of many of the Bank's essential on-site operations, including: the Bank's Cash Operations, Law Enforcement Unit, Federal Reserve Financial Services, Business Continuity and Resilience teams.
Within O&R, the Business Operations team is responsible for administrating and liaising with Bank and System teams to provide centralized support and execute a variety of complex analytical, operational and administrative activities, including but not limited to communications, logistics, real estate, business continuity, identity access management, executive support, records management, procurement and vendor management.
As a Business Operations Specialist, reporting to the Director of Business Operations, you will drive operational effectiveness by refining and improving end-to-end processes across our team. You'll help define clear roles and responsibilities, identify and implement process improvements to better support our businesses, and ensure our operations effectively serve the Group's varied personas. Additionally, you'll manage programs that highlight our team's capabilities and partnerships across the organization, execute key strategic initiatives, and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
The ideal candidate brings strong organizational, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills with proven experience in ensuring operational efficiency, driving process optimization, and managing competing priorities.
How You'll Make an Impact as a Business Operations Specialist:
- Operational Execution – Execute business operations activities and own end to end delivery across processes, including standards, compliance, finance, procurement, and operations functions.
- Analytics & Insights – Provide financial and workforce analytics, conduct spend analysis and vendor reviews and deliver data-driven insights to support leadership decisions and budget optimization.
- Standards & Compliance – Maintain a repository of operational standards and protocols that ensures alignment and compliance across all responsibility areas, including policy education, business continuity and resumption testing, and facilities/records management.
- Stakeholder Partnership – Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to translate operational and administrative requirements into solutions; communicate proactively and build strong relationships.
- Information Security Liaison – Manage and coordinate identity access management, including technology entitlements and creation and management of role-based access controls.
- Operational Coordination – Provide logistical coordination and execute operational functions as needed.
- Team Collaboration – Mentor team members, sharing expertise and ideas to foster a high-performing team dynamic.
The Unique Skill Sets We're Looking For:
- Progressive experience in business operations, vendor management, compliance, or program management supporting complex organizational functions
- Proven ability to design, document, and improve workflows while maintaining standards, driving efficiency, and ensuring compliance across functional areas
- Strong ability to synthesize operational and financial data to deliver insights using Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar platforms and effectively communicate findings
- Demonstrated success influencing across organizational levels, building partnerships, and translating complex requirements into executable solutions
- Advanced proficiency in MS 365 Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and enterprise systems (Workday, Ariba); familiarity with AI productivity tools a plus
- Proven ability managing though ambiguity, shifting priorities, and competing demands while maintaining quality standards and attention to detail
- Preferred: Experience with budget management, TPRM compliance, identity access management, or procurement processes.

Salary Range: $165,000-$195,000
