Job Description
This exciting Sr. Director position is the Sales Operations Leader for D&S, reporting directly to the D&S President. This is a multifaceted position that will be responsible for overseeing and managing several organizations that contribute to D&S growth; Proposal Operations, Technical Sales, and the Authorization Owner Center of Excellence (AO COE). In this role, you will be challenged to achieve key performance metrics and build strong relationships and partnerships with customer business teams, GBE GMs, Sales Excellence, Pricing, Sourcing and other functional groups in order to position Honeywell for long term positive growth. This position requires strong leadership skills, executive presence, and extensive knowledge of our product lines and key processes. As a member of the D&S Leadership Team, you will coordinate activities with other functions across the multiple regions to focus on growth and achieve overall business results.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the D&S Proposal Operations organization and achieve key performance metrics including Quality, Volume, OTTR, Turn-Around-Time, and WIP, all focused on producing compliant, winning proposals.
- Drive productivity and process improvements into the proposal ecosystem via cross-functional projects to automate and improve efficiency and reduce proposal processing speed.
- Team closely with key functional counterparts in Government Sourcing, Pricing, CIJ, Compliance, CBT and Engineering to ensure priorities are aligned to support D&S Proposals.
- Oversee the D&S Technical Sales organization and ensure active support and collaboration with CBT team on key growth initiatives and sales opportunities.
- Establish stretch targets for key tech sales incentive plans, metrics and quotas.
- Ensure development of high-quality white papers and recurring updates to Sales Vault with new and refreshed product sales brochures and sales collateral.
- Attend customer technology overviews, industry trade shows / conferences and customer and media demonstrations.
- Oversee the D&S Authorization Owner (AO) Center of Excellence (COE) to manage assigned D&S Technical Assistance Agreements and ensure compliance to provisos.
- Team with ECO to conduct quarterly health checks on time for all managed TAAs and operate the EXPID Clearinghouse meetings.
- Team with Sales Excellence to conduct sales pipeline analysis, manage and oversee the Bid & Proposal (B&P) budget, monitor new Leads generations, ensure Salesforce Opportunity hygiene and data accuracy, and monitor and report D&S wins vs. forecast.
- Plan, lead and execute the Bi-annual D&S Global Sales Conference.
- Act as the Honeywell Aerospace focal for the DD2345 Data Custodian certifications, per AG-6116.
- Support AOP and STRAP Development activities.
- Achieve high VOE and PLI scores for your organization
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to effectively lead teams and overdrive performance metrics
- 10 years related experience within the Aerospace Industry

- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities and skills
- Sales leadership experience with a track record of driving wins
- Proven Program Management experience. PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong business acumen knowledge and skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
The annual base salary range for this position is $255,000-320,000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
