JMC HR Consulting is pleased to partner with Sabian Ltd. in the recruitment of their next Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Based in Western New Brunswick, Sabian Ltd. is a globally recognized manufacturer known for quality, craftsmanship, and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to join an established and growing organization in a key executive leadership role with broad influence across the business.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the CFO will provide strategic and operational leadership across finance, accounting, information technology, and human resources.
As a senior leader within the organization, the CFO will play a critical role in supporting business performance, guiding decision-making, strengthening internal operations, and ensuring the organization is well-positioned for continued growth and long-term success. This role is ideal for an experienced finance executive who combines strong technical expertise with practical business leadership and the ability to work closely with operational teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive leadership across financial reporting, accounting, treasury, IT, and HR functions within the organization
- Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and long-term financial planning activities
- Support and optimize the organization’s capital structure and balance sheet management
- Establish, implement, and maintain financial policies, controls, and governance practices
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Lead treasury management, cash flow oversight, and organizational risk management initiatives
- Partner closely with senior leadership to support strategic planning and operational decision-making
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies across the business
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability across functional teams
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
- CPA designation required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience in finance
- Experience within manufacturing and/or distribution environments is considered a strong asset
- Exposure to Six Sigma, continuous improvement, or operational efficiency initiatives is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, treasury management, governance, and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively at both a strategic and operational level
