Business Operations and Client Relations Associate

We take a hands-on approach to the growth and development of our portfolio companies, providing them with the resources, support, and collaboration needed to thrive in their industries.
We are seeking a Business Operations and Client Relations Associate to join our Operations team, which is made up of a diverse group of entrepreneurial-minded innovators whose main responsibilities focus on providing continuous operational and customer success support to our portfolio companies. This role will work alongside our company's Managing Partner and play a key role in sourcing, developing, and maintaining partnerships and business relationships between internal teams, clients, vendors, and business partners.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading or supporting projects that enhance operational capabilities and promote growth.
- Developing and executing strategies that drive efficiency, scalability, and profitability across portfolio companies.
- Analyzing business performance metrics and providing insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Troubleshooting operational issues and proposing practical solutions.
- Identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring business continuity and resilience.
- Researching and evaluating potential start-up opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Working with executive teams to develop and execute scalable business strategies to accelerate revenue growth and market expansion.
- Coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure project alignment.
- Providing guidance on organizational development, team structuring, and talent management.
- Participating in routine tasks such as lead generation, sales pitches, data analysis, client outreach, reporting, test-marketing, vendor coordination, etc.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any field of study.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
Preferred:
- 1-2 years of internship or professional work experience in a startup, B2B, professional services, or legal context focused on project management, business development, corporate development, or entrepreneurial endeavors.
