Job Summary
The Business Applications Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight, development, and ongoing optimization of Ultimate Linings’ core business systems, with a strong emphasis on NetSuite ERP, CRM, system integrations, and project delivery. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with operational and financial objectives.
Key Responsibility
NetSuite Development & Platform Ownership
- Serve as the functional and technical owner of Ultimate Linings’ NetSuite environment, including configuration, customization, scripting, workflows, and user roles.
- Design and deliver NetSuite enhancements that support manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operational reporting needs.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable NetSuite solutions aligned with business priorities.
Integration Architecture & Middleware Management
- Lead the design, implementation, and support of system integrations using APIs and middleware platforms.
- Oversee integrations between NetSuite and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., CRM, eCommerce, manufacturing, logistics, and data platforms).
- Ensure integrations are reliable, well-documented, secure, and follow established integration and data governance standards.
Project Management & Delivery
- Lead application and integration-related projects, including new implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and third-party solutions.
- Apply structured project management practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage cross-functional project teams, vendors, and implementation partners, providing clear plans, timelines, risk management, and status communication.
Business Partnership & Adoption
- Act as a liaison between business teams and technical resources to ensure solutions are practical, intuitive, and drive measurable business value.
- Support change management efforts, including user training, documentation, and post-implementation stabilization.
- Continuously evaluate system usage and performance, identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and cost optimization.
Vendor, Security & Platform Governance
- Manage relationships with NetSuite partners, integration vendors, and other application providers.
- Ensure applications and integrations comply with organizational security, data privacy, and internal governance standards.
- Support audits, controls, and documentation related to system access, integrations, and data integrity.
Qualifications
Minimum Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Formal coursework or training in project management or systems integration.
Minimum Required:
- 5+ years of experience managing or supporting business applications.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with NetSuite development and configuration.
- Experience designing and supporting system integrations using APIs and/or middleware platforms.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or operations-focused organizations.
- Experience working with external implementation partners and managed service providers.
- Prior ownership of ERP or integration roadmaps.
Minimum Required:
- Strong NetSuite skills, including configuration, customization, workflows, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of API-based integrations and middleware concepts.
- Proficiency in translating business requirements into technical and functional solutions.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with common iPaaS or middleware tools.
- Familiarity with analytics or reporting tools leveraged alongside NetSuite.
- Salesforce, warehouse management system.

Working Conditions
The following working conditions are present or expected on a daily basis:
- Primarily office-based with extensive computer use.
- Occasional collaboration across time zones.
- Up to 10% travel may be required for vendor meetings, project workshops, or internal events.
