Wisemonk is an Employer of Record platform that helps international companies hire, pay, and manage talent in India. We work with 300+ global clients and are building the compliance, payments, and hiring infrastructure that lets companies operate in India without setting up a local entity.
THE ROLE
AI is changing sales faster than most teams can keep up with — new agent frameworks, new outbound tools, new ways to automate what used to take a full team. We want someone whose job is to stay ahead of that curve for us: constantly testing the newest tools and approaches, and turning the ones that actually work into systems our sales team runs on every day.
This is a builder's role. You'll design and ship AI agents that power cold outbound, lead enrichment, call summarization, CRM updates, and follow-ups — and you'll coordinate the tooling and workflows across sales so everything connects instead of running as disconnected point solutions. You're not maintaining a legacy system. You're building sales infrastructure that didn't exist a year ago, using tools that didn't exist six months ago.
This is also an ongoing mandate, not a project with an end date. As new AI products and techniques come out, you'll be the one testing them, deciding what's worth adopting, and building it into how the team sells — with the explicit goal of increasing sales velocity.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and ship AI agents that run cold outbound end to end — prospecting, personalization, sequencing, and follow-up — and coordinate this with the rest of the sales motion so outbound doesn't run as a silo
- Continuously test new AI tools and products (agent frameworks, outbound platforms, enrichment tools) and make sharp calls on what's worth adopting versus what's hype
- Connect the sales tool stack — CRM, calling tools, email, calendars, enrichment sources — so information flows automatically instead of getting re-entered by hand
- Enriching leads, summarizing calls, updating CRM fields, flagging stalled deals, drafting outreach
- Own the full lifecycle of what you build — ship it, monitor it, catch failures fast, and keep improving it
- Work directly with sales reps and leadership to identify the next opportunity for automation and prioritize based on impact on sales velocity
- Keep a living inventory of every agent and workflow you've built — what it does, what it depends on, what to watch for
WHAT YOU NEED
- 2-4 years of experience writing and shipping production code, not just prototyping in notebooks
- Genuine curiosity about new AI tools and products — you're already trying the latest agent frameworks and outbound platforms before most people have heard of them
- Experience with a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) — you understand how sales data actually moves through a pipeline, not just how to query it
- Ability to take an undefined problem and turn it into a working system without needing a spec handed to you
- Ability to debug your own systems in production — when an agent fails silently, you can trace why and fix it fast
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building or running cold outbound systems (sequencing tools, deliverability, personalization at scale)
- Prior experience in a RevOps, sales ops, or sales engineering role
- Experience with workflow tools like n8n, Zapier, or Make, even if most of the building here will be hand-coded
- Exposure to a B2B SaaS or services sales motion
