Total compensation for this role is 90k-150k OTE depending on background, interview performance, and compensation framework.

About The Role
We're hiring a GTM Lead to work directly with our CCO Thies on the engine that drives Buena's growth: our M&A pipeline. Every property manager in Germany is a potential acquisition target; your job is to make sure we know about every single one of them.
In your first quarter, you'll have built the full target universe for us. By the end of year one, you'll be running outbound campaigns and feeding Thies and the deal team with the conversations that move the company forward.
What You'll Own
- The funnel that drives every Buena acquisition. Every deal we close in 2026 will trace back to your system. You own it end-to-end: Strategy, execution, measurement, iteration. There is no playbook to inherit.
- A 100% deal visibility machine. :30,000 PM-GmbHs in Germany, an entire generation of owners about to sell. Your mandate: no transaction happens without us seeing it first. You'll design the detection layer: sources, signals, automation
- The full GTM stack Outbound, inbound, partnerships with M&A advisors, paid, content, events. You make the bets, you allocate the budget, you run the experiments.
- Proprietary market intelligence. Some of the highest-value signals in this industry aren't on the internet. By month six, you'll know the German PM landscape better than any consultant
- A direct seat next to the CCO. You report to Thies, our co-founder. You sit in every M&A conversation that matters.
You may be a good fit if you
- Speak fluent German (C2). Most of our targets, their public filings, and the conversations you'll have are in German.
- Are structured and obsessive about data quality. A list with 80% of the targets and 60% accuracy is useless.
- Are resourceful in your research. Handelsregister, Northdata, LinkedIn, company websites, phone calls, industry directories. You'll use whatever works.
- Move fast. Rather ship a v1 of the list today and improve it weekly than spend three weeks perfecting it before anyone sees it.
- Want to learn the M&A craft from the inside. This is the closest seat to how Buena actually grows. You'll see every deal.
- Are based in Berlin or willing to relocate; this is an in-office role in Prenzlauer Berg.
Strong signal: You've built a real outbound or sourcing motion from scratch: a database, a campaign, a deal pipeline, or a recruiting funnel. You know the difference between a list that looks complete and one that
is complete, and you know what it takes to turn a cold name into a conversation.
