Job SummaryAs a Business Systems Analyst III, you will work with cross-functional global Technology teams in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. You will deliver strategic insight into business systems through complex analysis, reporting, and operational activities for Factoring Business applications. This role will be required to work closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, Operations, and Technology teams across the organization to define requirements for existing and/or new applications with focus on the modernization of legacy systems.
The Business Systems Analyst III will serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for assigned systems to deliver business requirements, implement appropriate specifications, and will monitor for compliance and effectiveness. Assists in identifying and resolving process issues which may involve system testing or development. Many of our systems are homegrown, so you will quickly come up to speed to serve as an analyst and point of contact for all systems in our ecosystem. May also oversee the work of less experienced analysts in the work group.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of multiple Factoring applications across Commercial Services; you will be the primary person responsible for implementing new enhancements/maintenance releases and configuring new document or system requirements.
- Work with our product and business partners to understand new requirements, then write clear user stories within Jira.
- Partner with our software engineers and conduct system testing, document defects, and ensure high quality software is deployed.
- Develop expertise in our systems; become SME.
Preferred Skills- Experience as a business systems analyst for financial systems
- Data analysis and reporting capabilities, including familiarity with SQL, Excel, and presenting data findings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to write concise, clear requirements
- Exposure to working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- A high sense of personal agency and drive to improve – you self-identify questions or problems and drive toward solutions
- Demonstrated experience administering or performing system analysis/configuration on other banking systems
- Familiarity with software integrations, including fluency in understanding API documentation and common integration patterns
- Experience with informal leadership over other analysts or team members
Education Requirements- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operations Support; OR
- High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operations Support
