About us
We are a growing real estate and construction group operating across development,
construction, and investment activities in South Florida. Over the past 10 years, the group has completed more than 10 projects and currently has 6 active projects under development and construction.
The group currently manages over $30M in assets under management (AUM) and is supported by a
team of 18 professionals across construction, operations, finance, and development.
Our companies combine high-end construction execution with entrepreneurial real estate development, managing projects from acquisition and financing through construction and final delivery.
This is not a traditional corporate environment. We operate with a hands-on, fast-moving mindset where execution, adaptability, and ownership matter as much as technical expertise.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly capable CFO who can operate both strategically
and operationally. Someone who understands how to structure and scale a growing real estate business, while also being comfortable rolling up their sleeves and solving day-to-day challenges.
This position is ideal for a finance leader with strong entrepreneurial instincts, experience in real estate development and construction, and the ambition to potentially grow into a broader leadership over time.
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, relationship-driven, and experienced working with banks,
lenders, family offices, and high-net-worth investors.
Key Responsibilities
1. FINANCIAL LEADERSHIP
- Lead the financial strategy of the group across construction, development, and investment
operations.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
- Manage and help scale an existing financial and administrative team of 3 professionals
- Develop financial models for construction and development projects
- Optimize capital allocation across multiple projects and business units
- Improve financial controls, reporting systems, and operational efficiency
2. CAPITAL MARKETS & FINANCING
- Manage relationships with banks, private lenders, debt funds, and investors
- Structure and negotiate construction loans, development financing, and credit facilities
- Support capital raising efforts with high-net-worth individuals and strategic partners
- Participate in investor presentations, reporting, and communications
3. STRATEGIC & OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP-
- Work directly with the founders on strategic planning and company growth
- Support operational decision-making across construction and development activities
- Help professionalize and scale the organization without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
- Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, operations, accounting, and external
consultants
- Assist in evaluating acquisitions, developments, joint ventures, and investment opportunities
4. ORGANIZATIONAL GROWTH
- Build scalable financial and operational systems for a rapidly growing group
- Help recruit and develop finance and administrative talent
- Contribute to the long-term vision and leadership evolution of the company
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in finance leadership roles within real estate
- Strong understanding of real estate finance, construction accounting, project-level budgeting, and
capital structuring
- Proven experience dealing with banks, lenders, and high-net-worth investors
- Experience working in entrepreneurial, high-growth, or founder-led environments
- Strong operational mindset with willingness to be hands-on when needed
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Located in Miami-Dade County or willing to relocate
- Bilingual English / Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both development and construction businesses
- CPA, MBA, or advanced financial education is a plus, but not mandatory
- Experience scaling companies or participating in executive leadership transitions
