Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing revenue management, cost control, and profit maximization.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards for revenue recognition.
- Lead the preparation of accurate financial reports, interpret complex financial data, and present insights to executive leadership for informed decision-making.
- Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management to support operational needs.
- Conduct risk analysis and implement risk management strategies to safeguard organizational assets while ensuring compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations), and other regulatory frameworks.
- Oversee Mergers & Acquisitions activities by evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and integrating new entities seamlessly into existing financial systems.
- Supervise budgeting processes, expense management, payroll management, and cost control initiatives across departments.
- Ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met accurately and timely for governmental agencies and stakeholders.
- Lead business development efforts by analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting strategic planning initiatives.
Skills
- Extensive experience in financial accounting, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and supply chain finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts such as profit & loss analysis, revenue cycle management, cost management, and financial modeling.
- Proven expertise in risk analysis, risk management strategies, and compliance with SOX, COSO, GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards.
- Proficiency in financial software systems and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience supervising teams and collaborating with senior leadership to drive organizational success.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with strategic thinking for business development initiatives.
- Deep understanding of tax accounting practices including ASC 606 standards for revenue recognition.
- Ability to interpret complex financial reports clearly and communicate findings effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Strong technical accounting skills in areas such as cost accounting, payroll management, expense control, and financial planning.
