Role Description The Business Operations Specialist is a parttime to full-time role, responsible for supporting operational workflows and special project management. Daily tasks include maintaining up-to-date records in internal systems, preparing reports, and collaborating closely with warehouse, field, and account teams.
Successful candidates will have the ability to scope and design the right system, write an SOP, and hand it off cleanly to team members.
Some weeks the team member in this role will be designing a multi-step workflow. Other weeks they will be tracking down a vendor quote or getting employee uniforms designed and ordered. The person in this role doesn't distinguish between the two — they just get things done.
What we're looking for:
- Strong organizational skills to oversee initiatives from start to finish
- Comfortable shifting between high-level system design and ground-level execution — no task is too big or too small
- Clear, concise communication to work effectively with all levels of the company
- Self-directed and ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
- Field ops, logistics, CPG, or events background a strong plus
- Strong foundation in Business Operations, including coordination of logistics workflows and process execution.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.
- Comfort learning new systems quickly.
