Role Overview and Person SpecificationWe are looking for a proactive and highly organised Commercial Operations Coordinator to support our commercial team with a variety of operational, administrative and reporting activities.
This is a key role within the business, ideal for someone with a background in sales administration, customer service or commercial operations who is looking to further develop their career within a consultative, relationship-driven IT sales environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the customer lifecycle, maintaining business systems, producing reports, coordinating vendor-related activities and ensuring the smooth running of key commercial and sales processes. You will also play an integral role in supporting client engagement activities and contributing to the overall commercial success of the business.
The role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys working with systems, data, processes and administration, whilst building strong relationships with colleagues, customers and business partners. You will work closely with teams across sales, customer support, vendor management and business operations, gaining broad exposure to a range of commercial functions.
Whilst initially focused on operational, reporting and administrative responsibilities, the position offers excellent opportunities to take ownership of additional processes, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and develop into a broader commercial operations role as the business grows.
Responsibilities and DutiesCRM & Systems Administration
- Maintain accurate CRM records, product information and pricing data within Zoho CRM.
- Manage product, vendor and price book updates, ensuring data integrity across business systems.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports and KPI tracking tools.
- Support CRM administration, data quality and user engagement initiatives, including Zoho Motivator.
Pricing & Product Administration
- Coordinate pricing updates, including exchange rate adjustments and vendor price list maintenance.
- Support product and pricing onboarding activities for new vendors.
- Maintain pricing information across internal systems, documentation and sales resources.
Reporting & Commercial Support
- Produce regular sales, vendor and performance reports to support commercial decision-making.
- Assist with forecasting, Point of Sale (POS) reporting and KPI analysis.
- Provide administrative and reporting support to the sales, marketing and commercial teams.
Vendor & Operational Support
- Support vendor management activities and maintain accurate product and supplier information.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Contribute to commercial, operational and marketing projects as required.
Order & Logistics Coordination
- Support the coordination and tracking of customer orders and deliveries.
- Manage Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation and delivery-related administration.
- Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners and customers to resolve order and delivery queries.
- Help ensure a smooth and efficient order fulfilment process from purchase through to delivery.
RequirementsEssential
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
· Comfortable working with systems, data and reporting
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively
· Strong communication and administrative skills
· Proactive and willing to learn new systems and processes
Desirable
· Previous experience using CRM systems, preferably Zoho, although training will be given
· Experience in sales support, marketing support or operations administration
· Experience with reporting, dashboards or KPI tracking
· Understanding of pricing administration or product data management
