Robert Half is partnering with a San Diego based company that is seeking a Business Applications Manager (ERP, Business applications, HRIS). The position is direct hire, full time, with full benefits, and 5 days onsite (Monday- Friday) in San Diego. Qualified candidates will have experience leading the deployment, customization, and management of various ERP and business applications for a complex enterprise environment.
Responsibilities:
- In a hands-on capacity, lead the integration, enhanced reporting, and optimization of current ERP system and general business applications.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, HR, Sales, and Operations to ensure ERP solutions meet business needs.
- Collaborate with application teams for rapid deployment of software and business applications.
- Manage ERP upgrades, integrations, and customizations.
- Deploy and integrate new business applications.
- Plan and coordinate with other stakeholders, business analysts, developers, 3rd parties, to execute the project within the set deadlines.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Define and maintain application roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new systems or enhancements to existing platforms.
- Handle day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope, including engaging stakeholders and applicable departments.
- Manage a small team and work with 3rd parties to execute on critical initiatives. This is a hands-on role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in ERP, business systems, and application management.
- 3+ years in a leadership or application ownership role.
- Knowledge of API's Integration tools like Boomi and Mulesfoft.
- Demonstrated experience deploying and integrating various business applications in a complex multi cloud, enterprise, hybrid environment.
- Experience with upgrades, patches, and release cycles with minimal business disruption.
- Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, team management, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to understand business needs and convert them into solution requirements.
