Company Profile:
Commercial printing company located in Atlanta market [Kennesaw] with approximately 55 employees and annual revenue of approximately $10 million. Accounting department currently includes a CFO, Accounts Payable professional and Accounts Receivable professional.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CFO to join our team and oversee the financial operations of our company. This position reports directly to ownership. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost accounting, inventory management, financial analysis and financial reporting, with a proven track record of success in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the financial operations of the company, including cost accounting, inventory management and financial reporting
· Develop and maintain the company budget and monitor plant spending to ensure compliance with the budget
· Analyze production costs and develop strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
· Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions and provide insight into plant performance
· Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and procurement to optimize plant operations and profitability
· Manage the accounting team and provide guidance and support as needed
· Lead month-end and year end close processes.
· Supervise Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
· Manage cash flow forecasting, budgets and liquidity planning.
· Administer accounts receivable financing facilities.
· Manage equipment financing and lender relationships.
· Coordinate with outside CPA firms and tax advisors.
· Manage HR processes.
· Maintain internal controls and financial accuracy.
· Provide financial analysis for ownership.
· Ensure integrity of all financial reporting.
· Maintain and oversee the company general ledger.
· Review and approve journal entries.
· Ensure accurate account coding.
· Perform account reconciliations.
· Manage month-end and year-end close.
· Prepare financial reporting packages.
Skills:
· Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
· Experience in manufacturing environments with an understanding of cost accounting and inventory management.
· Proficiency in financial reporting, cash management and forecasting.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
· Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Solid understanding of internal controls and financial compliance requirements.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
· Demonstrated financial acumen with a strategic and proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Ability to operate both hands on and at a strategic level in a small collaborative team environment.
· Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA or CMA certification preferred or MBA
· 15+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis or related field with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
