Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Infor CPQ Techno-Functional Consultant based in Chennai. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring Infor CPQ solutions, and aligning system capabilities with customer processes across domains such as manufacturing and finance. Day-to-day activities include gathering and documenting functional requirements, translating them into technical specifications, configuring rules, pricing, and product models in Infor CPQ, and coordinating with development teams for integrations and customizations. The role involves conducting system testing, troubleshooting issues, supporting user acceptance testing, and preparing end-user documentation. The consultant will also participate in client workshops, provide ongoing production support, recommend process improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful deployments and continuous optimization of CPQ solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into effective CPQ configurations.
- Excellent communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders, conduct workshops, gather requirements, and provide user training and support.
- Expertise in business process analysis and design, including mapping current and future-state processes related to sales, quoting, and product configuration.
- Consulting mindset with experience in client-facing roles, requirements management, solution design, and delivery within enterprise application projects.
- Understanding of finance-related processes (e.g., pricing, discounting, approvals, revenue impact) and their integration with CPQ and ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience with Infor CPQ or similar CPQ platforms (e.g., configuration, rules, workflows, integrations) is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering-driven industries and product configuration concepts (BOMs, variants, options, and rules).
