The Role
As a result of this continued success and growth, they are seeking to hire a very important role, that will enable them to scale effectively and optimise the operational processes needed to reach the growth in a sustainable fashion. this person will be collaborating with the senior team, to bridge the gaps across Finance, Product and Commercial and ensure the delivery of projects adopting automation.
The ideal person will have previous experience working in Lending or Payments, with start-up exposure so that they already have domain knowledge and the dynamic ability of working in an ever-changing space.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage core business workflows, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across key functions.
- Own data processes and produce high-quality reporting and insights for senior leadership.
- Work closely with internal teams spanning finance, product, and commercial to ensure operations are aligned with broader business goals.
- Identify and drive opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve operational throughput.
- Assess, implement, and optimise tools and technologies including low-code, no-code, and AI-powered solutions to enhance efficiency and data quality.
- Leverage data and operational insight to surface inefficiencies and deliver scalable, lasting process improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in operations.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or a similarly regulated or process-driven environment.
- Strong interest in automation, systems, and process optimisation.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Experience improving processes and implementing operational systems.
- Clear communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable insight.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
