Job Function: The Business Operations Analyst bridges financial insight and operational execution. This role is responsible for financial analysis, KPI development and reporting, finished goods tracking, customer invoicing, and serving as a financial resource to the operations team. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and able to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare recurring financial reports including variance analyses, margin reviews, and cost summaries; support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close.
- Build financial models to evaluate operational initiatives, capital expenditures, and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Design and maintain KPI dashboards; produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for leadership and operational teams.
- Record finished goods transactions in the ERP system; reconcile inventory against production records and investigate discrepancies.
- Act as a back up for Accounts Payable and Receivable, including assisting with collections as needed.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to operations leadership; assess the financial impact of proposed process or supply chain changes.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance accuracy, reduce costs, or improve operational efficiency.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and Tableau or Power BI
- Data visualization and reporting skills
- Understanding of business operations and process optimization
- Communication and stakeholder management
- Attention to detail and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Data Analytics
