Role Description
This is a full-time, remote Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role at Carver & Associates. The CFO will lead the financial strategy and operations of the organization, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes. Key responsibilities include managing financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, providing data-driven financial insights, and guiding strategic investment and cost management decisions. The CFO will collaborate with stakeholders to align financial objectives with organizational goals while maintaining a commitment to ethical financial practices and accountability.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Financial Planning and Finance, including the ability to develop and implement robust financial strategies and budgets
- Experience with creating, analyzing, and interpreting Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to guide decision-making
- Proficient Analytical Skills to assess data, forecast trends, and identify financial opportunities and risks
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage cross-functional collaboration
- Proficiency in financial software and technology tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a CPA or MBA is strongly preferred
- Prior experience working in a Procurement hospitality-related business is advantageous
- NetSuite and QuickBooks experience preferred.
