Job Title: Operations Director

Salary: £60,000–£80,000 per annum + profit related bonus

Camel Glass is a successful, family-owned business with over 40 years of experience serving customers across Cornwall and Devon. The business operates from four locations across multiple divisions and has recently expanded through acquisition. We are entering an exciting phase of development and are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our Senior Management Team.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving operational performance across the business, supporting continued growth and ensuring the organisation is structured for long-term success.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and day-to-day operational management.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead operational performance across multiple sites and business functions
· Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
· Develop systems, processes and reporting capabilities
· Work closely with departmental managers and senior stakeholders
· Contribute to business planning and future growth initiatives
You will:
· Have proven experience in a senior operational leadership role
· Be comfortable managing multi-site or multi-functional operations
· Demonstrate the ability to translate strategy into practical delivery
· Be hands-on, adaptable, and solutions-focused
· Have a track record of improving performance, systems, and processes
