Real Estate industry experience is required for this role!
The Chief Financial Officer will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and a strategic business partner to the Chairman and CEO/President. The CFO will provide financial leadership while maintaining a hands-on approach to finance and accounting operations. The CFO will help build the financial infrastructure necessary to support the company’s aggressive growth strategy while enhancing reporting, strengthening investor and lender relationships, supporting acquisitions, and improving operational efficiencies throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities· Evaluate, restructure, and enhance the accounting organization.
· Develop, implement, monitor, and report key financial KPIs.
· Oversee timely financial reporting for executive leadership and external investors.
· Lead financial due diligence supporting the company’s aggressive acquisition strategy and future acquisitions.
· Maintain lender relationships, ensure loan covenant compliance.
· Strong participation in insurance renewals and support claims management.
· Champion technology initiatives throughout the accounting and finance functions to align with company’s technology-forward culture.
· Lead strategic financial and operational special projects.
· Provide strong leadership and professionalism while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers, including CPA firm, insurance brokers, attorneys, lenders, and other advisors.
· Coordinate with CPA firm on all tax matters, including reviewing final returns before submitting them.
· Manage Treasury function including cash balances ensuring both security of funds as well as optimizing returns.
· Constantly evaluate the firms’ capital markets strategy.
