ROLE SUMMARY
A foundational role for B&B's operational structure — owning the link between business goals and day-to-day operations, including P&L management, banking, relationships with external agents, and compliance across India and Dubai operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate B&B's business goals into operating plans, budgets and resourcing decisions
- Own the company P&L, monthly MIS and financial reporting to the CEO
- Manage banking relationships, cash flow, and treasury operations, including cross-border payments for Dubai/UAE work
- Ensure statutory and regulatory compliance — GST, TDS, ROC filings, labour law and contracts — working closely with CA/CS/legal partners
- Manage relationships with external agents, vendors and partners across markets
- Build and maintain SOPs and operating processes as the company scales
- Support budgeting and cost control at the project and company level
- Work with HR on organizational structure, and support board or investor reporting as needed
- Identify and manage operational and financial risk
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 4–7 years of experience in business operations, finance operations or a similar role, ideally at an agency, services business or startup
- Solid understanding of P&L management, statutory compliance and banking operations
- Experience working directly with CAs, company secretaries or compliance consultants
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Exposure to cross-border (India–UAE) business operations is a strong plus
- Structured, process-driven, and comfortable being the operational backbone of a fast-moving creative business
- Based in Bangalore
