Role Description
The Business Operations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Northborough, MA. This role is responsible for supporting and optimizing business operations through workflow coordination, operational analysis, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
The specialist will analyze operational data, monitor performance metrics, identify process improvement opportunities, and support initiatives that enhance productivity and service quality. The role collaborates with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve business processes, maintain operational documentation, support business systems, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business operations data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports and dashboards.
- Support business process analysis, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Document operational procedures, workflows, and business processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Support implementation and improvement of business systems, CRM, and ERP platforms.
- Prepare reports and presentations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Assist leadership with data-driven insights to improve business performance.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure consistency of operational processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Operations and Business Analysis skills to manage workflows, document processes, and support continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Experience with operational reporting, KPI tracking, and process improvement.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM, ERP systems, and business productivity tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Information Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
